NYFW Fall 2013 Designer Inspirations

"Jet set gypsy" — Oscar de la Renta

Today kicks off the exciting start of New York Fashion Week, Fall 2013. This is one of my favorite times of year for fashion, and as I'm eagerly awaiting the show reviews and the heaps of street style photos about to hit the net. WWD hosted a beautiful 3 part series of designer inspirations for the fall 2013. With inspirations stemming from global travels to works of art, I can't wait to see how these designers translate their dreams into reality. I've included a small peek of the article, but you can see the entire series here

"The work of Adriana Varejão." — Narciso Rodriguez

"During a trip to Marrakech, I was so inspired by the rich, bold colors in the markets and the graphic patterns on the rugs and tile work of the sun-worn buildings.…” — Tom Mora, J. Crew

"Winter break."  Araks Yeramyan, Araks

"'Where everything seems possible and nothing is what it seems.' - The Labyrinth" - Joy Cioci
