Fashion Quote Friday: Alexander Wang

alexander wang quote

We've made it, happy weekend! Alexander Wang, the master of "cool" at the moment has a great thought going in to our days off. How do you dress on your days off from work? Are you a Lulu Lemon girl or do you go for boyfriend jeans and a cute top? I dress for comfort and stay in jeans and ballet flats if I can help it.

Things I'm loving this week:

1. These Balmain sunglasses. Fingers crossed I get them for my birthday next week!
2. The launch of  Beauty Box Photo (available for free download on the iTunes store, here)! The iPhone app uses the same digital makeup technology as the creators use to retouch movies and music videos.  I've been working with Beauty Box on marketing & would love to hear your thoughts.
3. The Budget Babe's contest for a $100 gift card to WALLIS
4. The Academy Awards!! I can't wait for the gowns and the fashion coverage. Check out this hilarious article on the 6 Types of People Who Watch The Oscars

  1. I totally agree with that quote! It is definitely some food for thought....and makes me question my choice of sweats when I got home from work :P

  2. I try to dress however I feel that day, but always acceptable to be seen. Winter makes it harder, 'cuz then I need lots of dorky layers, but I even try to wear pretty pajamas. :)

  4. Always, ALWAYS flats when dressing down (and usually when dressing up too). Past that, I'm a jeans and chambray type of gal!

  5. OMG this quote makes me cringe cause I typically wear sweats and horrible clothes on the weekend. The sloppier and comfier, the better for me! Ahh

  6. This is very true! I always make an effort to look at least presentable; even on a day in I'd never wear sweatpants. Maybe it's because I have the mentality that I'm my own harshest critic so I should dress for myself more than anyone else.
