As many other American fashion fanatics, I've fallen for the French label, Maje. Walking through the Maje section in Bloomingdale's recently the label caught the eye of both myself and my mom. Ladylike silhouettes combined with sharp details make the line appealing to women of all ages. Have a glance at the Maje Fall/Winter 2012 lookbook.
Maje is the type of brand that oozes French style from it's seems. Just look to the left, a silk romper paired with a fab winter coat says "It's cold, so what?" Now that's the type of European indifference we should all aspire to;)
This season Maje presents deep neutrals mixed with a minimal but deliberate bright hues to help women build a wardrobe that lasts. And pairing moto boots with everything from leather pants to little black dresses, I can do that!
I'm not one for ultra feminine fashion, but that is the beauty of this label. Maje designer Judith Milgrom uses her fascination with embroidery and lace to create her signature "rock n' folk" look. Perfect for what I imagine a bohemian careerist would want to wear.
1. Rabotte leather trimmed boucle wool coat $475 2. Brass detailed brushed silk dress $380 3. Metallic leather shirt $485 4. Jacquard skirt $280
Let's talk about a few of my must have Maje items in stores now. A cobalt blue boucle coat with leather details: Could you get anymore of the moment? A simple yet sexy LBD with built in jewelry: Need (period). Gold leather t-shirt: I was had at gold leather and then putting it in t-shirt form...*swoon. And last but not least, a cobalt and forest green jacquard skirt: Transform me into a sexy Swiss girl, stat!
